Maddie's Kitchen APP

The Problem

Maddie’s Kitchen is a mobile ordering app I designed for a local Italian restaurant that was missing a lot of phone calls during busy hours. Customers would call to place orders or make reservations, which lead to missed calls and most importantly loss of buisness. This restaurant needed an easier way to do all these things than over the phone. I developed high-fidelity wireframes, clickable prototypes, and user flows for the app to enhance the user engagement.

How I solved it

I designed a simple and user friendly mobile app where customers can check the menu to order online and request reservations. I focused on keeping the menu clear and simple, the checkout process quick, and the reservation easy. After testing the first time I made adjustments like the theming colors and making buttons more clear and visible.

The Outcome

In the end, my app provided a convenient option for customers and helps reduce high volume of calls during peak times. This project helped me learn how to design a solution that supports both the business and the user experience
